Look, you need to stop questioning why a magical beast would have a potion of water breathing. It is a fantasy world.

And hey, I'm kinda Wizard-y. More Rowling than Tolkien, though.

There really isn't a good place to start. It's hard to appreciate any piece of music without first understanding the period it was composed, form of the pieces etc.

There are always the popular favorites (many which you've already listed) that your friend is probably familiar with or has heard from some movie or tv commercial.

Avoid anything that is complicated or dissonant. If you don't understand the concept of a 12 tone row, you'll never like Schoenberg.

Also consider which area you want to start with. Symphony, sonatas, concertos, trios etc.

I wouldn't know where to start honestly. Probably just keep picking stuff until he likes it and then expand on that.

We'd just abandon it. We'd put in new piping, leaving the old in place, no need to rip it out. You'd want fresh pipe and the trencher would just rip through it. You could even go with nice big heads that do 50' sections. Super Easy.

That would be fun. Slow going would be the removal of the old system, since I have absolutely no clue how it was set up (other than poorly).
