Midweek Kids Fix
All from February 9th. The lad and I playing a game of Go. I felt like taking some snapshots.
There’s my little gamer.
“Why do I have to take another picture?”
Plotting the next move.
Now, Austin is demonstrating the proper way to place a Go stone (they are called stones, and if I had the cash, these would be real ones).
Just me in the mood to take pictures, really.
My favorite non-kid shot. I really love taking close-up focal points and letting the rest of the world stretch on.
Go has been fun to teach Austin. It’s easier, I think, than starting out with Chess, yet it develops into just as strategic of a game. Plus there is no set-up time needed for Go; you just start placing stones. He does play Chess too, so I’ll have to get some shots of that next time we go at it.
