Midweek Kids Fix
Time for a snow day! We’ve had some warmer, sunnier days after snowfall around here, so it’s perfect for taking the kids out to play after school. M then came home and snapped some pictures. All of these are from February 4th.
Check out Action Man in the back there…
Post face-plant in the snow.
These things don’t happen accidentally, after all.
The little snow princess. Gotta love the pants, right?
Mommy and her little girl.
Ready… Aim…
Helping build snow bricks.
Cheese!
“I fell down.”
Let the games begin.
Best part of playing in the snow? Full-on tackling in padded clothes on puffy ground.

Brrrrr…..
Those pants would make golfer John Daly jealous.
Good stuff (and I am glad to be in the valley at this moment).

I agree with my Mom,that just looks COLD!I have to admit, after 6+ years in the California snow country,it’s lost the charm quite a bit.I’ve gradually gone from acting like a kid (Oh Boy!Snow!!) to a grumpy old man (Ah,crap,MORE f*&^ing snow, enough already!).Still darned pretty though.Alas,in my neck of the (literal) woods,a good snowstorm usually equates to a long power outage to boot, two this year so far, about 36 hours apiece.

Looks perfect. It’s already way too damn warm here.

Yeah, we don’t have to deal with power outages. We don’t even get shut down.
Only thing I have to put up with is trying to get off my lazy butt to get out and shovel. I rarely do it in time, but then I always regret it because I have to take three times as long to scrape packed snow and ice. Warren knows all about that.
